Design Files
Packaging Bird exclusively offers design files at a resolution of 72 dpi, which is considered low resolution. Should you desire to acquire design files with a higher resolution, kindly reach out to sales@packagingbird.com to obtain a quotation.
Customer Submitted Artwork
Please ensure that all artwork, designs, and images are submitted in CMYK format and have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Please note that Packaging Bird cannot be held responsible for any color variations that may occur during the conversion process. Color variation can be reduced by Pantone Machinery System (PMS). Additionally, Packaging Bird cannot be held responsible for any issues with the quality of printed images that may arise from customer-provided artwork being fuzzy, distorted, or pixilated.
Proofing & Matching
All print jobs require customer approval of the final artwork and job specification sheet. Once an order has been placed, customers will receive final artwork proofs and a job specification sheet via email. It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review all details mentioned in the specification sheet, including delivery dates and production speed, and ensure that all of their requirements have been accurately noted. Please note that Packaging Bird will not be held liable for any specifications and requirements beyond what is stated in the final specification sheet. Additionally, it is the customer’s duty to thoroughly review the final artwork proof, as proofreading falls under their responsibility. Unplanned changes may occur due to the various way’s files are prepared. The final proof represents what will be printed, and Packaging Bird strongly advises printing it out at 100% to verify the actual position, spelling, and other design elements. Packaging Bird will not be accountable for any design or spelling issues that are not identified by the customer and promptly communicated to Packaging Bird. Once approved, the design file and job specifications will be forwarded to the production department and printed as submitted.
Packaging Bird does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of color matching or ink density on screen proofs approved by customers. Screen proofs are intended to predict design layout, text accuracy, image proportion, and placement, but not the exact color or density. Packaging Bird will make an effort to match the gradient density of each color in duo-tone. However, Packaging Bird cannot be held liable for the final appearance of a duo-tone unless the customer specifically requests a color match proof. It is important to note that the application of lamination may impact or alter the appearance of the printed colors. Therefore, Packaging Bird cannot be held responsible for the final color appearance of a laminated product/s.
Materials
We offer all types of Card Stock, Food graded stock and eco-friendly stock for food consumption. It is essential that the customer takes responsibility for proof and layout approval before proceeding with the printing process. Packaging Bird cannot be held accountable for any errors in the printed product resulting from the following factors, Graphics orientation or placement and incorrect font usage, spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors, wrong die cuts, slits or incorrect and missing folds, and finished product size.
Color Accuracy and Hard Copy Proofs
Packaging Bird strives to replicate color from the provided print-ready files as accurately as possible. However, Pantone Machinery System (PMS) can produce and ship color variation for bulk orders, in the printing processes, variations in the properties of different printing surfaces, and the ink requirements of neighboring images. The precision of color reproductions is guaranteed to be within 90% of the final proof that you have approved. It is essential to bear in mind that packaging bird can only guarantee color reproduction for your print-ready files if you opt for a hardcopy proof, which incurs an additional charge. Furthermore, please be aware that packaging bird cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies in color between the submitted print-ready images and the actual artwork or product they represent.
Indemnity
You are responsible for indemnifying and defending Packaging Bird, as well as any parties from whom Packaging Bird has licensed portions of content, along with their directors, officers, and employees, against all claims, liability, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses. This indemnification pertains to any breach of these terms and conditions by you or any suit, claim, or demand arising from or relating to any text, photograph, image, graphics, or other material that you incorporated into products that was not part of the standard site content.

Damaged and Lost Packages
Prior to accepting delivery, customers are advised to thoroughly inspect all packages for any visible signs of damage or missing items in comparison to the items listed on the enclosed packaging slips or invoices. Failure to file a claim within 3 business days of order delivery, Packaging Bird will not be held responsible for any damage or missing items claims. It should be noted that Packaging Bird is not liable for 3rd party shipping errors, omissions or damaged shipments. To account for printing trade standards, each ordered product is shipped with a few extra pieces free of charge. In rare cases, order shipments may have slightly fewer pieces than ordered, as underage or overages of up to 5% are permitted. Customers will be charged additional shipping and handling fees for packages that need to be reshipped due to customer error in submitting the correct shipping address.
